In addition to a number of newly launched machines, JCB has announced the launch of two hydrogen products, the 3CX Hydrogen Backhoe Loader and G60RS H Generator
The 3CX Hydrogen Backhoe Loader is a zero-emission solution for sustainability-focused construction businesses around the world.
Customers working with the machines reported identical power and torque characteristics to their traditional diesel machines, with no requirement for operators to change their way of working or adapt to the new technology. Read more
As part of the RS family, G60RS H Generator shares all of the ease of use and robust construction of its diesel stablemates. However, the power is provided by JCB’s ground-breaking hydrogen-fuelled engines. Read more
JCB also shared the HYKIT launch of a fully integrated, mobile hydrogen refuelling system designed to bring fast, reliable hydrogen infrastructure directly to site. JCB has developed the mobile refueller in cooperation with HYKIT which enables easy, rapid filling on site when required, with none of the lengthy charging times associated with battery electric machinery. GOING FOR THE RECORD
Exactly 20 years after rewriting the record books with the JCB Dieselmax car, the company is returning to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah to attempt a new speed record – this time using hydrogen power.
