When content creator Peter Haddock from Content for Industry visited family business Grist Environmental, he spoke with Directors James Grist and Paul Mortimer about their experience working with JCB Finance and local dealership Holt JCB. The diverse company who primarily operates in waste management and recycling solutions use JCB Finance to finance a range of equipment including JCBs and more. James Grist explains;
“It ranges from skip lorries, hook loaders, arctics, dustcarts, arctics obviously all the machines like screeners and crushers. We work closely with JCB Finance not only on JCB kit. They are happy to do all sorts.
JCB will custom build a package to what you need. They will do exactly what you ask them too.
We do have lots of brands knocking on the door and JCB do seem to be the one that put together the package that’s right."
Finance director Paul Mortimer continues to say;
“We are running a fleet of almost 100 heavy goods vehicles and pieces of plant and equipment that are needed to sort and separate the different waste streams that are coming in here. We need that kind of relationship where we can rely on the support and the finance of an organisation like JCB."
