The process is straight forward, firstly we will ask for some basic information to help identify you, your business and your business activities including who owns the business and who is authorized to make decisions.
We will need to undertake all necessary credit reference agency and fraud agency checks - see our Use of Your Information Page for more details on this.
Secondly, we will require details about the items you’re looking to acquire and why; we can then formalize the credit application and establish the amount of deposit required, the value of the instalments and the period of the agreement - you must give appropriate consideration as to how you will afford the instalments. To give yourself the best chance of approval, you should always ensure the information you give us is accurate and honest.
Thirdly, we will process your credit application through our credit score process or directly with one of our credit underwriters. If this process raises any further questions, conditions, concerns regarding your affordability of the instalments or we are unable to approve the application, your Relationship Manager will discuss this with you.
Once this is complete and when you are ready to proceed your Relationship Manager will make arrangements with the dealer for them to invoice us and in turn will make arrangements to issue you with your finance agreement for signing. This may include a personal meeting, via a JCB Finance Accredited JCB Dealer or using our secure JCB Finance Online Service.
