Nigel Hooper, owner of Doncaster based family business Hooper Plant Hire Ltd, has invested in his fleet with a new JCB 3CX, adding to his extensive fleet of dumpers, mini diggers, rollers and tracked excavators. Working alongside nephews’ Tom and Will Sanderson, Nigel and the company carry out training and contracting works nationwide.
With access to a promotion offering 0% Interest Hire Purchase Nigel decided to invest in a new JCB 3CX and benefit from spreading the cost whilst preserving working capital. Making payments over 2 years meant Nigel could keep the cash in the business and own the machine when all payments have been made, still reclaiming the VAT and having tax relief opportunities just as if he’d paid cash.
Hooper Plant Hire carry out contracting work as well as plant training where they visit customer sites or customers come to them. The new 3CX was needed to keep up with workload.
